Me again. I know I said that I’d be posting more, and that I was going to be trying to get things around here back to “normal” (such at it is), but lately I just haven’t found a lot of things worth posting about. There’s not much point to re-posting stuff about the tragedy, since it’s all over the net. Well, I guess a brief Weekend Update is in order…
Friday evening, I learned a valuable lesson, and that lesson is “All traffic reporters are morons.” Normally I can make it to NYC from my house in about an hour. Friday night, it took me THREE hours. Obviously, the traffic reporter who said there was a “40 minute delay” at the Lincoln Tunnel was watching a one-legged man WALK the length of the Viaduct, because I sure as hell was sitting in my car for more than 40 minutes. Anyway, long story short, I had a production meeting for “Seven Keys”. The combined time of the meeting and my trip home was still less than my drive in.
Saturday was my eye-doctor’s appointment. This was fun for the simple reason that it’s the one time every year when I get my eyes dilated and they get all big like on an anime character. Sadly, I was not instantly a master of Kung-Fu.
Sunday – auditions for “Seven Keys” The turnout was light, but I’m sure we’ll scrounge up all the people we need. (BTW – commute normal.)
And there you have it. Oh – while I’m thinking about it, I encourage everyone to check out at least one episode of “Enterprise” and “Alias”. Both are excellent new series.
