Is it just me, or does NBC’s attempt to generate ratings for the NBA Finals by cutting live to U2’s concert in Boston during halftime tonight smack just a little bit of desperation? The need is so great that for a few tenths of a rating point, they’re programming stunt programming *inside* stunt programming!
And before you ask, yes, I tuned in.

I’m debating getting a licence plate for my Explorer that says “CRITIC”. Actually, I’ve been debating it for several years, ever since I had the Escort. But now I’m kinda seriously thinking about it. Mainly because I’m tired of Jeremy telling me that “JFP 46Y” looks like “Jiffy Pop”. (Me, I don’t get it.)
Apparently, I was wrong. Not only is Darren being held captive by Princeton University, but it seems his blog is traveling backwards in time.
