{"id":668,"date":"2004-12-24T22:48:19","date_gmt":"2004-12-25T05:48:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.m-dnovember.com\/?p=667"},"modified":"2004-12-24T22:48:19","modified_gmt":"2004-12-25T05:48:19","slug":"cinemania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.m-dnovember.com\/?p=668","title":{"rendered":"Cinemania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Movies I <acronym title=\"indicated in black\">want<\/acronym> or <acronym title=\"indicated in red\">need<\/acronym> to see before I have to go back to work on January 3:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Assassination of Richard Nixon (presuming &#8220;limited release&#8221; includes our area)<\/li>\n<li><del>The Aviator<\/del><\/li>\n<li>Blade: Trinity<\/li>\n<li>Closer<\/li>\n<li><font color=\"red\"><del>House of Flying Daggers<\/del><\/font><\/li>\n<li><font color=\"red\"><del>The Incredibles<\/del><\/font><\/li>\n<li><font color=\"red\">The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou<\/font><\/li>\n<li>The Merchant of Venice (again, presuming &#8220;limited release&#8221; includes our area)<\/li>\n<li>Ocean&#8217;s 12 (presuming I can catch &#8220;Ocean&#8217;s 11&#8221; on video first)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;Ray&#8221; would be on that list too, but the closest theater that&#8217;s still showing the film is up in the Amboys.  &#8220;Phantom of the Opera&#8221; would be on the list, except that, as I&#8217;ve pointed out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.re-run.com\/archives\/2004\/12\/22\/paper-faces-on-parade\/#comments\">elsewhere<\/a>, I&#8217;m not overly fond of &#8220;Phantom&#8221; in any medium &#8211; and that the actor cast to play the title character apparently can&#8217;t sing.  (How is that even possible, anyway?)  I may end up seeing it tomorrow night anyway, depending on how the group decides.
