Well, no doubt by now you’ve noticed that things are not as they once were here at the ol’ blogstead. Bry<\/a> has been helping me to move Random Thoughts off of Blogger (which I’ve discovered I don’t like as much as I used to, what with the instability and the hacking and all) and over to Movable Type, which I love as long as I don’t have to set it up myself. (Thanks again Bry!) Things are still kinda rough – there’s some sawdust on the proverbial floor, if you will – and he and I are still working to get things to my liking. But once we’re done…oh, who am I kidding, we won’t ever be done.<\/p>\n

The sidebar will fill out with other links and the other standard features of my site as time progresses. The one thing that’s gone for good are the old DotComments posts. Unless I get REALLY bored and decide to cut and paste everything in, I don’t see how those will be back. Which is a shame, ’cause there were some doozies. But in the meantime, welcome to Random Thoughts v.2. (beta)<\/p>\n

Anyway, I have work in the morning (boo!), but I’m getting overtime for it (yay!), so I suppose I should probably get some sleep. Speaking of “change”, don’t forget to set your clocks, watches, cell phones, VCRs, etc. ahead one hour tonight!<\/p>\n
