“Brotherhood of the Wolf”<\/a> on Friday night. I’m still not entirely sure of what I thought of the movie. Granted, I really didn’t understand the conclusion, as I had to leave the theater about 1 hour in to take a cell phone call (ugh), but still… I will, however, say this. The French? They are some really screwed-up people. (I mean, the whore’s naked breast dissolving into a hillside?) There was, however, some excellent violence, and rather casual nudity, so it wasn’t a total loss, even if there was an utter lack of stuff that done blowed up real good. And the subtitles never really bothered me. (Although there was a character called Chivalier, and you have no idea how hard it was to resist going “Haw-haw-haw” ever time he was mentioned. Maybe I’ll save that for the MST3K version.)
